About the course

Delia and Seth

Seth and Delia's years of specialist teaching experience put them in an excellent position to differentiate typing objectives for the individual learner during these multi-sensory touch typing courses. Teaching this skill is one of the many hats Delia and Seth wear during their working life, as they both run the Hampstead Dyslexia Clinic  (Est. 1984) and individually run Dyslexia Assessment and Access Arrangements Ltd, and Specialist Teachers for Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Ltd.

Delia Gascoigne

Delia is an engaging, experienced Specialist Teacher, Specialist Assessor and Consultant who has been in the special needs  field for over 26 years. Delia began teaching touch-typing back in 2001 when she lived in the States and worked at Allegro School in New Jersey. She introduced typing to young people identified with autism, as both a life-skill and a career skill. She has been running this fun and engaging course for the past 17 years. It started with just a few students and word spread over time!
Seth Gascoigne

Seth Gascoigne

Seth is an energetic, charismatic and knowledgeable Specialist Teacher, Assessor and Consultant. He has held a practising certificate since 2010 (OCR Level 7) and is a member of the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS). Touch-typing courses are a real highlight for Seth. Whether a student is dyslexic, dyspraxic, hypermobile, dysgraphic, or in need of getting ideas down in a faster and more manageable way, Seth loves the positive feedback from students as they begin to master this life skill!

TTFK Tutors

We have a number of tutors who work on the courses and love imparting their skills to others. These are either current or ex-students who have attended courses and who have gained in this skill over time. Assistants range from 18 through to 30 years of age, and they are able to type at a minimum of 45 wpm plus, with 90% plus accuracy. They demonstrate that touch typing is truly possible and in doing so encourage and inspire our students to continue to hone their skills and practice during the course and beyond.
My two teen sons each did a week of touch typing as they are slow hand writers and it was a brilliant course to give them confidence and better accuracy in typing. Delia and Seth made it lots of fun with jokes and prizes and they came away with vital tools to build on that should be really helpful at school. Thanks so much Delia and Seth!

Fantastic touch typing course! My daughters loved this course and I can't recommend it highly enough! Delia and Seth and team have such a lovely and encouraging way with the kids and they were genuinely inspired and want to continue. Absolutely amazing!

My daughter really enjoyed the course and learned how to improve both her accuracy and speed. It's great that Delia and Seth provide access to the programme so that their students can continue to practise and improve after the course has ended.
